 Daikin FIT™ DH6VS

 The DH6VS is the core heat pump in the Daikin FIT line. It's a compact, inverter-driven unit for ducted homes, less than 14" wide and five times quieter than non-inverter systems. It rates up to 19.0 SEER2 and 8.8 HSPF2, uses R-32 refrigerant, and comes in sizes from 1½ to 5 tons. Quiet mode brings it as low as 45 dB(A), and hot start technology means only warm air comes out when it switches to heating. It can be installed as an add-on coil above an existing gas or oil furnace for a dual-fuel setup, with the heat pump covering most of the year and the furnace as backup in deep cold.

 Daikin FIT™ DH7VS 

 The DH7VS is a high-efficiency, variable-speed heat pump with a compact side-discharge design, so it takes up much less room outside than a traditional cube-style unit. Its inverter swing compressor adjusts output to match demand, which keeps temperatures steady and energy use low. It works with the Daikin One+ smart thermostat and comes with a 12-year parts and unit replacement warranty. It can be installed as an add-on coil above an existing gas or oil furnace for a dual-fuel setup: the heat pump does most of the heating and cooling, and the furnace takes over on the coldest days.

 Daikin FIT™ AURORA (DH9VS) 

 The Daikin FIT AURORA is the cold-climate model in the FIT line. It is ENERGY STAR Cold Climate certified and uses low-GWP R-32 refrigerant. It met the requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy's Cold Climate Heat Pump Challenge. It holds full rated heating capacity at -5°F (-20°C) and operates down to about -23°C. It comes in 2 to 3 tons and keeps the slim side-discharge cabinet.
